Yes. Every bar is formulated for face and body. On the face, lather in your hands first, massage for about 30 seconds, then rinse. Kojic and arbutin bars can feel slightly drying at first — follow with a moisturizer.
With twice-daily use and a draining dish or saver bag, a 4.2 oz bar lasts around 5–6 weeks. Left sitting in water it can go in half that — which is exactly why we sell the bamboo dish.

Our story
A Missouri kitchen, one stubborn dark spot.
THEMIDOO started on a kitchen counter in Lamar, Missouri, with one very practical problem: a dark patch along the jawline that no drugstore cleanser touched, and a shelf full of serums that cost more per ounce than anyone should pay for hope. So we started melting, measuring and testing bars instead.
Two years and a lot of failed batches later, the formula that worked was simple — kojic acid and turmeric in a cold-processed shea and coconut base, cured on a rack for six full weeks so the bar lathers gently and lasts. That bar is still our bestseller. Everything else in the lineup grew out of customer emails: "Do you have one for sensitive skin?" "Something for my back?" "Something my mom would love as a gift?"
We still make everything in small batches of 120 bars, cut and stamped by hand. Every batch is logged, every active is weighed to the gram, and nothing leaves the curing rack early. We use honest language too: our bars help reduce the appearance of dark spots and support a more even-looking tone. They are cosmetics, not medicine, and they work best with patience and daily SPF.
